St. Peter's Parish Family is a Christ-centered community,
committed to spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being
through sacramental worship, continuing education,
and compassionate service.
Belief Statements
We believe that:
1. Participating in the celebration of the Eucharist inspires us to fulfill our mission.
2. The Holy Spirit empowers us to develop each of our God-given talents.
3. Liturgical experiences that are open to all and that constantly respond to the spiritual need of our
members must be provided.
4. We must care for and nurture those in need.
5. Our Catholic Faith, values, and morals need to be shared with adults and children alike.
6. We must be involved in the larger community.
7. We need to reach out to those who have become inactive and invite them back.
8. With our support and input, the Pastor serves as the spiritual and temporal leader of our Parish Family.
9. Members of the Parish must be identified and trained, encouraged and supported to assume
their proper role in the Parish.
10. Active participation be every Parishioner in the various ministries of St. Peter's is essential for the
health, vitality, and growth of the Parish Family.
11. Social gatherings are an integral part of Parish life.
12. Children are the future of our Parish and must be nurtured, educated, and guided in the ways of faith.
13. Adequate facilities and resources must be provided and maintained to help accomplish the mission
of the Parish.
14. Our performance must be continually evaluated to insure that our bright future is securely anchored
in our distinguished past.
